Häagen-Dazs

Another backdated post here. I don’t think I need to introduce you to this legendary ice-cream brand. Not only well-known for its exquisite taste of ice-cream, also well-known for its extremely expensive price, something that we can only have once in a while.

Fortunately, we redeemed a voucher and we were more than excited at the thought of trying the luxurious Häagen-Dazs fondue.

So here we go, priced at RM63, this fondue was served with 4 mini scoops of Belgium chocolate, 4 mini scoops of cookies and cream and 4 mini scoops of vanilla ice-cream. As for warm patisserie, chocolate chips cookies and chocolate biscuits were served. Seasonal fruits such as apples, strawberries and bananas were also included in the fondue. For the toppings, we chose to have almond flakes. It was well-presented. But most importantly, it tasted fantastic. The hot chocolate sauce was thick and it has a thick chocolate taste. The ice-cream makes the best combination with the chocolate sauce, it was simply delicious. The patisseries were good too, but the chocolate chips cookie were a little to sweet to go with the chocolate sauce. As for the fruits, we love the strawberries the most, they are the perfect match with the chocolate sauce.

A close up on the patisserie and the almond flakes.

A final photo on the fruits.

It was a delightful dessert. We were too full to have dinner after having this. Nevertheless, it would be nice to try Häagen-Dazs’s ice-cream if you haven’t done so.

Stock HD ice cream at home when they are on sale. During sale, they cost around $9 a tub. Or else it's too expensive!

  11. Keropok Man, haha, yeah! Definitely a good idea. But we're not too sure when Häagen-Dazs would have discount for their ice-cream, but we can get Baskin-Robbins on the 31st instead. Sounds fun. ^^

J2Kfm, wow, you're so lucky! We want to share the fondue! Oops, too bad we're 10000 miles away. Haha! Enjoy your ice-cream. =)
